How To Delete A Betway Account

If gambling at Betway has become a problem, you can contact the support team to delete your Betway account. If you would like to gamble more responsibly at Betway, there are several steps you can take to make gambling safer and more enjoyable.

What Responsible Gambling Tools is There at Betway?

Betway encourages all its members to keep their gambling under control, and it provides several responsible gambling tools to help you. These tools are available in your account, or you can ask the Betway support team to help you.

Set Deposit Limits At Betway

Set deposit limits at Betway to make sure you’re only ever gambling money you can afford to lose. When you set deposit limits, these will apply to all brands associated with Betway, including Dream Bingo, Bingo on the Box, Spin Casinos, and Hippodrome.
Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to suit your budget. You can also alter your limits at any time. Lower deposit limits will be applied instantly, while higher deposit limit requests will be applied after a 24-hour cooling-off period.

Check Your Betway Activity Statement

Keep track of the money and time you spend gambling using Betway’s activity statement tool. You can view gambling sessions for up to 30 days, including bet amounts, winnings, losses, deposits, withdrawals, and the length of your sessions.

Set Session Reminders At Betway

Spending too much time gambling can be detrimental to other parts of your life, including work, hobbies, and relationships. A session reminder will keep you informed of how long you’ve been playing and give you the option to continue, exit, or view your account history.

You can set session reminders yourself, or the Betway support team will be happy to talk you through the process of how to set one up.

Take a Break at Betway

If you need to save up to buy something, or need to spend your time more wisely, taking a break from gambling at Betway is a great idea.

Different length breaks are available, starting at 24-hours, but you can take a break for up to six weeks. Betway will take measures to suspend all accounts attached to the Betway brand until you have completed your break. After that, you will have access to your accounts as normal.

Close Your Betway Account

There can be many reasons why you want to close your Betway account and, whatever those reasons are, Betway will close your account for you when you ask them to. It might be that you don’t want to lose any more money, spend any more time gambling, or simply no longer find gambling entertaining.

While taking a break at Betway is a temporary measure to stop gambling for short periods, you also have several options for how long to close your account. If you wish to reopen your Betway account, you can do so by contacting the customer service team.

Self-Exclusion at Betway

If gambling has become a problem, it’s possible to self-exclude at Betway from six months to five years. During your chosen period, Betway will also exclude you from all their other brands. Should you have any funds in any of these accounts, Betway will contact you to discuss returning the remaining money to you.

Once you have completed your period of self-exclusion, your Betway account will not automatically be reactivated.

If deciding to self-exclude, Betway suggests you register with GAMSTOP, an independent company that will help you self-exclude from all gambling sites.

How Do I Know if Gambling Has Become a Problem?

The main sign that gambling has become a problem is you’re gambling money you can’t afford to lose. However, spending too much time gambling, whether you’re winning or losing, can also be detrimental to things like work, hobbies, and relationships.
If you’d like to discuss your gambling with independent helpers, Betway suggests you contact one of the following helplines.

GamCare: www.gamcare.org.uk – UK National Helpline: 0808 8020 133
BeGambleAware: www.begambleaware.org
The National Gambling Treatment Service: www.begambleaware.org/ngts

Should I Delete My Betway Account?

When it comes to your gambling, it’s important to take steps to make sure you gamble more responsibly. This can be as easy as setting deposits limits and session reminders, and regularly checking your gambling history.

Taking a break can be a great way to stop gambling for a short period to reflect on your gambling practices. You can also close your account, self-exclude, or delete your Betway account completely. The choice is yours.
